I almost broke the box because I thought that that part came out like the envelop does). 10 volumes of Sailor Moon plus 2 volumes of Codename: Sailor V.

Does every magical girl have a costume?

Can anybody think of a magical girl who fights evil while wearing her regular, everyday clothes? Are there any magical girls who don't wear any special costumes? I know that magical girls wear normal clothes sometimes, but they usually change or transform into a costume when they are fighting. I've never heard of a magical girl who has never worn a special costume. Sailor Moon transforms into her costume, and Cardcaptor Sakura wears costumes because her friend insists on it, but I cannot think of a single magical girl who doesn't wear a costume at least some of the time. I realize that the costumes are a big part of the genre, and the costumes are actually something that I really like about the genre, but I was just wondering if there has ever been a magical girl who always just dresses in her casual, everyday clothing, even when she's using magic. Can anybody think of an example, or has it never been done before? Would a magical girl even be called a magical girl if she didn't have a costume? Or would she just be a female magic user? I love the costumes in magical girl shows, but I'm wondering if any magical girl show has ever gone without the costumes and just put the magical girl in sweatpants or something. By the way, I'm mostly thinking of Japanese anime, not American cartoons.
