I stopped manual trading for FTMO … And it changed everything
Hi All !
I’ve been trying to pass a prop firm challenge for months.
Like most people:
Overtrading
Revenge trading
Breaking rules after a few losses
Classic ...
At some point I realized something simple:
👉 The problem wasn’t the strategy
👉 It was me
So I tested something different.
Instead of trading manually, I built an automated system based on:
- H1 breakout logic
- Strict risk management
And the biggest difference wasn’t even performance.
It was discipline.
No more:
- Entering early
- Moving SL
- Overleveraging
Just execution !
Results are still in progress, but one thing is clear:
👉 Consistency is WAY easier with automation.
I’m curious:
Has anyone here actually passed a challenge using an EA?
Or do you think manual trading is still the only way?
