Returned to a Stock Front Bumper
My car had a Type R bumper on it which I didn’t love, fit was awful and it was giving me errors for my radar cruise and all that. I found a stock bumper on eBay so I grabbed it and threw it on there. Paint isn’t as good as I had hoped, lot of pitting, but that’s why they invented black Sharpie markers.
Install was a lot of fun because my car is a rebuilt title for a front end accident and there were more random screws in there holding the bumper mounts on than you generally like to see, but nothing was bent anyway. I also broke one of the fog light connectors, so I’m gonna have to take it off again anyway at some point.
Overall though I’m happy, no more error messages and I like the look of the stock bumper. I’ll get a lip for it once the 9th gen LX I’m selling goes.
