I’ve been looking into smaller cap stocks lately and noticed how mixed the quality can be. Some have interesting fundamentals or a clear story, while others seem to move mostly on attention and volume.

What I’m trying to figure out is how people here filter out the noise.

Do you focus more on financials, upcoming catalysts, volume trends, or just overall sentiment? And how long do you usually keep something on your watchlist before deciding it’s not worth following anymore?

Would be great to hear different approaches, especially from those who’ve been tracking this space for a while.
