Starting Buys - Suggestions Wanted
Hey, looking to get into MCP - been watching lots of videos and reading, now thinking I'm ready to start purchasing my first models.
I understand that the Mightiest Core Set is usually the way to go for starting out - but I'm not too interested in playing those models.
Really, I'm interested in mystical characters with my favorite being Strange and his supporting cast (been watching lots of guides on convocation affiliation and I also like their flexibility).
I am interested in grabbing the Convocation Affiliation Pack as well as the Defenders Affiliation Pack. Totally fine buying dice and measuring tools separately. I don't think terrain will be an issue since I'd play at a local game shop. Does anyone have any advice about fleshing out the list/possibilities and things I've overlooked?
