I’ve logged a grand total of twelve hours in this game across an entire goddamn year, and somehow every single match turns into a masterclass in condescension. The moment I load in, I’m surrounded by salty, sweats who act like I personally offended them because I haven’t memorized every mechanic and "hero" yet.
If this is the onboarding experience for new players, then the whole thing can rot right where it stands, a festering little cesspool of ego and gatekeeping.
Sure, Valve might’ve engineered something mechanically solid, but they clearly couldn’t be bothered to give a damn about matchmaking. Throwing beginners into lobbies with basement-dwelling tryhards who haven’t blinked since 2019 isn’t “challenge,” it’s just lazy as hell.
I got nothing but insults, a steady chorus of “uninstall” like it was the game’s unofficial soundtrack. So today, I finally took their brilliant advice.
GOOD FUCKING BYE
