In case Dad drops any of his ham sandwich, Boomer is there for the clean up!
I bought this lace leaf Japanese Maple a year ago. At that time the green leaves/branches weren't quite so prominent, and I thought they would eventually turn red. Obviously they have not, and this year they have really shot up. I think it looks a little awkward. Not sure what to expect in the future. I've never trimmed a jm before and not even sure if I should. Not sure it's going to work where it's planted. Any advice?
Edit: Edited to say thank you very much everyone for your helpful advice. I really appreciate your help!
