Kindles and DRM...take 2...a more visual version of yesterday's list...probably should have done it this way to start
Again, this is only a reference as to the current status of whether books delivered to a particular Amazon e-ink Kindle can then have DRM removed using Calibre + relevant plugins.
fwiw, I personally have received books today on my K5 and my Oasis 3 and was able to remove drm. that is, of course, no guarantee it will work in 2 minutes, 2 days, or 2 months, etc.
