Looking for a Donald Duck story where Scrooge, Donald, and the nephews get lost in the desert and discover an underground civilization of blind people (likely German LTB)
I Remember this only from my childhood, so I got very sparse information.
It should be pre 2005. Don't know the artist, but it has this sort of "washed out" look that I normally don't like. Visually it's like the contrary to Don Rosa, at least to me. But storytelling wise it's a pretty grounded adventure story/Barks-like approach.
They get lost in the desert (I think their vehicle broke down), almost die of thirst and are rescued by blind underground people who give them shelter. I don't remember what further happens in this part of the story.
However there's a panel that haunts me to this day and which is the main reason I'm looking for it. In the end the 'Ducks' decide to leave the underground people and head back to civilization. They get some provisions but barely make it back. One of the final panels shows them greedily drinking water from giant beer glasses. To this day the thought of the panel makes me physically feel the thirst and the feeling of finally getting liquids so it's my most vivid memory :D
Thanks for any help
