City had to cut out my driveway to do excavation work, what should I ask for to fix this once the work is done?
The city is installing a new drainage pipe to support some large company coming in. My house happens to be front and center to that effort apparently.
The driveway is a halfmoon, the (former lol) left side is the first pic, and the right side is the second pic. The right side has some damage so far from being driven on by the heavy machinery.
What should I ask for once the work is completed, is this basically a complete tear out and redo of the driveway? Or is there some way for them to fix it long-term without doing that. I don't know much about asphalt driveways and what is possible as far as fixes go without making it look like a patchwork of fixes.
