Who to send to the shard mines?
Hi all! I still feel like a new player, but I guess I’m getting into the “intermediate” stage as I started in December (due to the Witcher collab but had wanted to try this before that). Sharing my units in the screenshot and trying to decide who next yearns for the mines.
To give some insight on my current shard units and upcoming pull plans, I have:
SP Maitha (5* goal) and she’s at 78/120 shards
Shams (4* minimum, 5* goal at some point) just hit 3*
Lukamar (5* goal, just hit 4* a few days ago)
I would like to keep SP Maitha in for 5* (should be done in a few weeks) but then that slot will open. For upcoming pulls, I definitely plan to get Heshan and Shahnaz so they will get slotted in once acquired. Probably won’t be pulling anything else until the Luccian units.
As for units to consider, I received SP Faycal and Pooch off YOLO pulls, and Clara off a two-pull, so hadn’t necessarily planned for them. I did recently pull on the Dual Banner for Yserinde and got 2 copies of Nydia, so that’s why she’s 2*. I’ll give my thoughts on other units to consider but would love to hear feedback.
Clara – wants to be 3* minimum, preferably 4*. Seems a worthy investment for one of the above slots.
Pooch – seems to be in a good spot at 3*. Another possible contender for slots.
SP Faycal – wants 3* at least, but I don’t know if I’ll have room/interest in adding him in. Haven’t used him a ton and doesn’t seem super useful, but maybe I’m missing something.
Yserinde – from my understanding, works perfectly fine at 3*. Probably my top replacement to add into the mix.
Nydia – does okay at 3* but really benefits from 5*. While I’d love to get her there, between my existing units and upcoming units, not sure it’s worth all that time to get to 5* at this point?
Taair – at 3* now, wouldn’t mind getting to 5* but I think I heard Taair is fine at 3* if one plans to get Heshan (which I do).
Yennefer – at 3* now, would like to get 5* at some point, but she seems pretty effective for me at 3* and she only has 25/100 shards, so a ways to go even for 4*. Maybe try to get to 4* at some point?
Additionally, any older units to look out for? I’d say my top wants would be SP Samantha (hopefully gets a re-run with the new skin soon), Camelot, and maybe Credenza for support? Open to thoughts.
