Questions about references. Some job applications - even for traineeships - ask for job references. Some are mandatory, some not. If not, is it really important to put them? what if my past job references can't even speak English? or what if they don't want to be contacted? what if I don't even know if they remember me? 🤣 I don't know if you understand what I mean, I've got nothing to hide I just wanted to understand how important they are and if EU institutions really care about contacting them.
