The Candy Shop

I never knew this was a subreddit until I watched a "Red Web" episode on it. But when I heard there are other people who have had recurring dreams of certain shops and malls, I knew I had to come here.
Ever since I was a kid I can recall this one place where I grew up called "SweetPunk." It was a little candy shop with a steampunk aesthetic to it. I can so vividly remember seeing barrels of candy in the window, and going inside, you'd see those airships as toys hanging from the ceiling with a toy train track running, while hanging from the ceiling as well. But the strange thing about this thing was that my parents told me it was never real, just a dream I always spoke of. But at times when I mentioned it my Brother had also said he could recall the place as well. In our later years, we just chalked it up to my having this weird dream and him sharing it after I mentioned it.
Thing is, I've been seeing it in my dreams again lately, but it doesn't have that same warm glow it used to; now it's more decayed and the shopkeeper for some reason remembers me, like he's actually welcoming me back like an old friend, even though this is just a dream.
