When I turn the car on and put it in drive and press the gas pedal, the car feels like it has no gas for 1-2 seconds before it goes into 1st gear and jerks into it. Once I’m driving and idling and driving again it doesn’t do it, only on start up.

I’ve put the car into manual driving mode and it says shifted into first gear before starting to drive and still does it.

There is no check engine light on but it’s done this about 5 times recently. My mechanic said it’s something he’d want to read a code for.

Has anybody else experienced this and know what part may be failing to get ahead of it? It’s a B58 engine
