I’m really enjoying civ 7 multiplayer and playing with friends. It would be great if the multiplayer player limit could be increased! Right now it’s 8 max

Is anybody having issues with multiplayer after the recent patch?

After installing the patch, multiplayer games began reloading after every turn. This affected an existing saved game my brother and I had already been playing.

In two separate new multiplayer games, everything worked normally until we met each other at around turn 12 and turn 20, at which point the game began reloading after every turn again.

We have already tried:

- Verifying the integrity of the files in Steam

- Quitting and reloading the game multiple times

clearing cache files

- Disabling all mods

- Switching to the legacy version in Steam and then back to the latest version

starting multiple brand new multiplayer games

The issue only started after the most recent patch, and it makes it impossible to continue playing multiplayer.
