I’m surprised Deathbringer hasn’t used his magical ‘wifey tracking’ power to retrieve Glory already. He’s slacking smh

It’s a shame she got hit by the dragon equivalent of Covid, she seems to have been an actually decent queen (a decent queen? impossible.) and she didn’t want her daughters to start a SandWing war 2.0.
Sorry that the art is relatively low-effort, I whipped this up in like 16 minutes because I desperately need to yap about her being revealed as the protagonist of book 17. (Also I have no idea if ‘discussion’ is the right tag for this, but plaplzplz discuss what you guys think is happening. I’m curious.)
So, apparently it’s been announced that Kinkajou will be the protagonist of book 17. I’m curious to see how her character can be developed further considering she already felt somewhat completed, although I think she’ll be a good protagonist regardless.
What I’m excited to see is what happened to the queens at the end of THP. Kinkajou disappeared alongside Queen Glory, and it’s probably safe to assume that they’re in the same place, unless Kinkajou noticed Glory disappeared immediately and went on a quest to look for her before any other RainWings could notice (although the #1 Glory fan, Deathbringer, would’ve definitely noticed by now lmao).
I’m curious as to why Kinkajou disappeared too, though. Her main connections to Glory are the fact that they’re friends, but Lynx didn’t disappear alongside Snowfall. Kinkajou could be a distant royal family relative, but Mink and Cliff didn’t disappear with Snowfall and Ruby either, which is interesting.
This is mostly me theorising, but I’m wondering if Precipice made an enchantment to make all queens in Pyrrhia/Pantala disappear when one of the special dragonets leaves The Isle so that either the queens or the dragonets would be safe (queens disappearing in case the prisoners attacked them again).
And this is just a random ass thought: What if the dragon that Darkling and the others received ‘orders’ from is still alive via animus magic? And has a group going that’s trying to overthrow the queens for some sinister reason. OR, maybe the dragon that gave the orders is the sketchy asf one from the very end of the epilogue that was saying creepy stuff. Idk, I hope that they’re still alive. Or maybe it’s Precipice. Or maybe it’s an entirely new character and I’m just pulling random names out of a hat in a ‘Deltarune Roaring Knight identity theory‘esque manner.
I did try my best to do a different angle than usual, I think I did ok! The neck and wing positioning needs a bit of work though.
Uhhh I don’t have much to say about Moon, since her personality gets absolutely burnt at stake and chopped into pieces the second she isn’t the POV. She’s pretty cool in her book though, although I kind of wish that she didn’t get with Qibli (or Winter).
Also, I desperately need some shading practice for characters with multiple colours, so if anyone has any SilkWing or RainWing OCs that they’d be chill with me drawing (for practice), then just dm me with a reference :D
