For the past two weeks, pigeons have been nesting on our balcony, and yesterday the eggs finally hatched. However, one of the chicks kept leaving the nest, and the mother would only sit on the other chick. I tried to help by making a small nest and placing both chicks in it, but since then the mother hasn’t come back.

I’ve just now put them in a towel nest with a warm water bottle to keep them warm, but I’m really worried they won’t survive much longer if she doesn’t return. Can anyone advise what I should do?
