Elite 100 v2 problem!
Just got a BLUETTI Elite 100 v2 a couple weeks ago.
A few days ago I turned it on, plugged into the usb-c 100w port, connected cord to my phone. A little bit after (20-30 seconds) the DC overheat light came on.
Right when that happened I heard a sizzle, smelled burning, and a little puff of smoke came out the right side vent.
I thought it was going to catch fire and turned it off right away. I am trying to get a replacement but at the moment am frustrated.
Anyone have something similar happen?
I have since turned it on again and the display is fine, overheating gone, and charges my phone fine. I am not going to use it and have set it in a safe place for now.
What do you guys think could have happened? Burnt out fan? Burnt fuse? Some kind of oils or wires burning up? I think it is safe to say I need to get through support for a replacement.
I would like to know if this thing could spontaneously combust!
