Living in a 1984 dystopia,
Never know who your allies are,
In wars that shouldn’t start,
We are not playing the main parts,
They’re keeping us subdued,
Playing both sides till we’re unglued,
Pushing out devastating news,
Preaching to the pews,
While defiling gods very name,
Non-believers think the same,
Powers act like it’s some chess game,
But it’s monopoly with no shame.
Well who couldn’t guess that the public is angry?
I’ll write so you understand me,
Dark times are all times,
When it’s all built on crimes,
Lying through their teeth,
Good folks stuck beneath,
Will I die,
Before I see the bad guys cry?
I’m people watching, gazing at the blue sky,
Stuck in meetings hoping time will fly by,
Ironic how the highway blocks the view,
Of the seas hue,
They’re walking along the beach phone scrolling the whole way,
Disarming the potential of beauty for false unity,
The fences and the walking track,
Shows who creates aesthetic lack.
I know it all too well,
It’s pathological they can tell,
They run scared of what I might point out,
Leaving them stranded with no doubt,
“If insight doesn’t help it’s your fault”,
If you can’t bridge the gap just vault.
My brain eats itself,
It doesn’t need any help,
But added with the signs of the times,
The elites and their grimy crimes,
The optics look disgusting,
Clear vision flashing with no adjusting,
Why are they so confused that I,
Struggle to get up and try?
Denying the prescribed self,
Can’t help but delve,
Because the booze is top shelf,
Control lies like quick resolve,
So forgive me if I dive,
To the depths with no revive.
