One month with my Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Annual Calendar PFC907
I wanted to share some thoughts after about a month of ownership with the Tonda PF Annual Calendar.
This watch is especially meaningful to me because it was a wedding gift from my wife. Before buying it, I went back and forth for quite a while. My wrist is on the smaller side, around 16–16.5 cm, and at 42 mm this is definitely not a small watch on paper. That said, the black/grey dial and the lug design make it wear a lot more understated than the size would suggest. It has presence, but it doesn’t feel loud.
The bracelet clasp issue that some people have mentioned is real, at least in my experience. Over the past month of wearing it almost every day, it has accidentally popped open twice. Not a dealbreaker for me, but definitely something worth mentioning.
Aside from that, the wearing experience has been pretty much perfect. The bracelet is incredibly comfortable, the finishing is beautiful, and I absolutely love how Parmigiani integrated an annual calendar and moonphase into such a clean, restrained design. It gives you a genuinely useful complication without making the dial feel busy.
Compared with some of the other Tonda PF models, the Annual Calendar doesn’t seem to get discussed quite as much, but after living with it for a month, I’m really glad I went with this one.
Happy to answer any questions!
Also, does anyone have recommendations for OEM or third-party leather straps for the Tonda PF? I’m thinking about trying one this winter.
