VW Golf - ECU Unit - Car not running
Looking for some help from the community as I’ve reached a dead end!
I recently bought a VW Golf 1.4 TSI 2015 Model in the UK.
Turns out it had a misfiring issue and after multiple diagnosis, found it’s caused by the ECU. At this point the car was working.
My car had the ECU - 04E907309A and the mechanic shared that the car needs 04E906016DE which was shown on their diagnosis tool
I reached out to Ecutesting.com to rebuild it but they sent a replacement (04E907309A) which is not working and said the previous one was damaged beyond repair. When I tried installing this, the car would through a no comms error and would not even start.
I bought a used ECU 04E907309A and even that did not work.
Seems I would need to get 04E906016DE to get the car working
I cant find the suggested ECU in the market. On calling VW dealers in the UK they said the ECU would be ordered from Germany and have no ETA for delivery.
What should I do to get the car running? Anyone know a good ECU technician?
