When does contemplation come in? Or when to do contemplation?

Forgive me if this is in the beginner's guide. I read it some time back, and browsed through it again today, but I can't recall an answer to this.

When does contemplation come in? I understand that contemplation is separate from meditation.

Thanks.

Mixed feelings about Wukong

So I'm finally on to Black Myth Wukong after looking forward to it for the longest time. I am Chinese, and grew up with Journey to the West, so that's where I'm coming from. I finally have a computer that's beefy enough to run it with good settings. And... I'm feeling a little underwhelmed.

I'm at Chapter 2, so no spoilers please. And I may be wrong because I'm early in the game.

Now, its not a bad game by any means. The graphics are great (although quite unoptimised, I blame ray tracing). And some occasional micro stutters which are annoying, even though I'm using DLSS and Frame Gen on a 5080. Its odd giving that this was Nvidia's poster boy.

The story so far is great, and I love the very deep lore that the developers have bothered to include into the game that ties in with the original story. Its quite obvious that its a work of passion.

Gameplay though is alright. It is by no means bad. Combat feels fun, the bosses have great design and some of them are quite challenging. I took 5 tries on stone vanguard for example. But there are other's where I took 1 try. Not a big deal.

The map design though, is where the game really suffers IMO. Lots of invisible walls everywhere, so using the map to navigate is crucial. This is where it loses out to its betters like Wuchang. And even though Lies of P was linear, at least the visuals reflect that.

So far, pretty mixed feelings with the game. I like it, but I'm not in love with it. Which is a little bit of a disappointment, but also quite unfair to the game as I started on it with a lot of hype.

I know this sub gets tons of questions on what to buy every time there's a sale. I see lots of threads during my research on Google. So I'm sorry for yet another question.

So for some context, I am coming from MSFS 2020. That's the first and only flight sim I've played, so I am relatively new to the genre. I did play the first IL2 very casually. I know flying a WW2 plane in a warzone is a lot harder.

I am also an exclusively single player player.

Now, I am roughly familiar with the basics of the planes, but not with the variants, so I am not too particular about which plane I want to fly. But I want to fly a FW190.

I know that the base game, Battle of Stalingrad, doesn't have a FW190 unless you get the premium version or buy the premium plane. I have checked the website, and it is much cheaper on Steam, which does not have the premium version, but it has a discounted bundle.

I was thinking, with the price of the bundle, or the price of topping up for a single premium plane, I can spend a few more dollars to get yet another Battle of X that contains a FW190. It might be more worth it.

So with that said, which Battle of X should I get on top of Battle of Stalingrad? Specifically, which has the best value and also have the FW190? I do enjoy a good looking map, coming from MSFS lol. Having lots of user made campaigns and battles would be good. Having a scripted campaign included would be a good bonus too. And it would be good if any of the loadouts contain rockets. I remember having lots of fun with rockets in the very first IL2.

I might be wrong, but I'm thinking the Western Front might be preferable because it would introduce a greater variety of planes compared to more Yak and IL2 variants. I have also heard that Battle of Normandy frequently includes very long flights across the channel and that would be a minus point for me if I have to fly that for every mission.

Thanks in advance.

I believe it was freeware, possibly from Matrix Games. It looks a little like Panzer General, but I'm not sure if its in the same series.

The battles are based on WW2, turn based, multiple theatres (Pacific, West and Eastern fronts). It is also on a hex grid, turn based, and when you used a unit to attack, there were gunshots that sounded like they were from Saving Private Ryan.

Anyone has any idea what game I'm referring to?

Is it difficult to get a server that is low in latency and also is open to public? And for the servers that are available, is it always the same maps and teams or are the people usually open to switching around? What about modded servers? I'm thinking if I should bother getting the game.

How can that be possible? Did they even play the game? I personally thought it was great, but I can understand if someone thinks its above average, if its not their cup of tea. Fair enough. That warrants a 60-65 perhaps. But 49? That's a fail! Its totally mind boggling.
