I just read that Empower is starting service in Houston, TX offering lower prices than Uber and Lyft and, supposedly offering drivers more control over their earnings than the large rideshare companies.
Looking for first impressions from drivers.
If I give my 2-week notice in Texas (a work at will state) and the company says I have to leave right away, is that considered quitting or termination?
Would they owe me severance?

Internet searches suggest between 1.091 - 1,200 lbs which I assume also includes the driver.
I need to take about 1,350 lbs of tile (25 boxes) and I weigh about 250 lbs.
Is it safe to carry this for about 10 miles or should I make two trips?
