My real life geometry skills have drastically improved with birdwatching. Math has always been a struggle for me and was a sore spot in school. I have noticed though, I have learned how to read angles based on shadows. Birdwatching has trained my brain to calculate the angle of the shadow based on sun and able to locate the bird.

Is there anything random that has improved for y’all?
