We are Tuesday Quest, a small french indie game studio, devs of "A Planet of Mine MasterMine Edition". Ask Us Anything + Giveaway !
Hi r/NintendoSwitch!
Who are we
We are Tuesday Quest, a small team of 3 developers behind A Planet of Mine MasterMine Edition, which has been released on Switch! We want to thank the mods of r/NintendoSwitch to have us today!
The game
A Planet of Mine MasterMine Edition is an original strategic builder where you choose your gang of cute animals to conquer space! Collect resources in a procedural generated system, expand your influence, meet other factions. Trade, peace or clash: your planets, your choice!

The port
This was our first Switch port, and getting there was quite a bit harder than anticipated. Since we’re a very small team, every part of the process took longer than planned, especially adapting the game to console controls, polishing it and making it feel right on the Switch.
We want to do an AMA to have a honest talk about what the reality is for small games on Switch. The sales number (without being too specific) was really humbling and lower than we expected. We’re still quite proud of what we achieved though!
We’d be happy to talk about this adventure (yes, for us it was an adventure) and:
- the game and how it works
- making a strategy / management game that feels good on Switch
- what was hardest part of the port
- how long it took
- what we got wrong
- working as a team of 3
- or anything else (food for example, as French people,, it’s quite high in our priorities)
Giveaway
We will take 3 questions at random and award them a Switch key for the game! So don’t shy away and ask us anything! We will DM the winners.
