Hi,

A while ago, I posted on here about wanting to start up a support group in North Wales and The North West for adults with TS syndrome.

Anyway, Tourettes Action got back to me with all the info that I'd need to start a group up alongside them.

However, I need a deputy leader to help me run the group as part of their terms and conditions.

If anyone in this group is based in North Wales (Wrexham or close by) and is interested, please let me know.

I'm looking for someone who is:

- Good at timekeeping and communication

- 25 or above

- Prepared to have a DBS check

- Reliable

- Able to dedicate 5 hrs a month to the role

- First-aid trained or willing to be

- Wanting to help people with TS

-Willing to attend safeguarding courses and meetings with other TA group leaders

- Good sense of humour (this is for me personally and not on the TA criteria because I love a good joke and banter)

I am desperately looking as I believe more adults need a safe space to be themselves and to meet others who are also in the same boat.

Thank you!

My girlfriend posted yesterday asking if we should go to the show and asked if it'd be an idea for us to make signs with 'FUCK IDL' on them as a little protest.

Anyway, the signs didn't happen....

BUT

We decided to go because we'd already paid for it and couldn't get refunds.

We walked in, and I completely ignored IDL and just said "Hi" to the girls (who were SO LOVELY)

Made it clear we supported them as women and musicians, then my girlfriend asked if they were getting treated well, and that it better stay that way after they said they were.

During the pics, I gave IDL the bird, and

Nixe also grabbed my girlfriend's t-shirt before we left, not in an aggressive way but in a very sweet way, but I can't help but wonder if that meant something (I over think everything lmfao)

We also chatted about being musicians ourselves, which was so much fun to nerd out over.

The show was entertaining, and the girls played amazing, but sadly, it will be the last time we see them because we don't want to support IDL.

At the end of the show, I shouted, "FUCK IDL" as he walked past us, which was my final act of rebellion.

Fuck IDL, Fuck what he's done to so many talented women.

If anyone has any info about where I can support the current Dogma lineup's original projects ... please let me know!
