Because markets can move quickly, a market order may sometimes fill at a slightly different price than what you last saw in your TD Easy Trade app. When you place an order, prices can change between the moment you submit it and the moment it actually fills. This is why even small market shifts can affect the final price you see.

The type of order you use also matters:

• A market order prioritizes speed. It fills as quickly as possible at the best available price at that moment.
• A limit order prioritizes price. It only fills if the market reaches the price you set or better.

In addition to order type, these also play a role:

• Normal price movement
• How actively an investment trades
• Order size

Pourquoi mon ordre a-t-il été exécuté à un prix différent sur NégociTitres TD?

Comme les marchés peuvent évoluer rapidement, il arrive parfois qu’un ordre au marché soit exécuté à un prix légèrement différent de celui que vous avez vu en dernier dans l’appli NégociTitres TD. Lorsque vous passez un ordre, les prix peuvent changer entre le moment où vous le soumettez et celui où il est exécuté. C’est pourquoi même de légers changements sur le marché peuvent affecter le cours final que vous voyez.

Cela peut aussi dépendre du type d’ordre que vous utilisez :

• Un ordre au marché priorise la rapidité. Il est exécuté le plus rapidement possible au meilleur prix disponible à ce moment-là.
• Un ordre à cours limité priorise le prix. Il n’est exécuté que si le marché atteint le prix que vous avez fixé ou un meilleur prix.

En plus du type d’ordre, les facteurs ci-dessous jouent également un rôle :

• Fluctuation normale des cours
• Fréquence des activités de négociation liées au placement
• Taille de l’ordre

In the TD Easy Trade app, when a stock or ETF pays a dividend, you won't see it the same way you see prices move during the day. Instead, dividends show up as activity in your account.

What you see next depends on how your account is set up. If you've chosen to reinvest dividends, some or all of the dividend may be used to buy more shares. When that happens, you'll see the number of shares increase in your holdings. If dividends aren't reinvested, you'll see the amount show up as cash. In both cases, the activity will be listed in your account activity.

Dans l’appli NégociTitres TD, les dividendes versés par une action ou un FNB ne s’affichent pas de la même façon que les variations de prix au cours de la journée. Ils s’affichent plutôt comme des activités dans votre compte.

Ce que vous voyez ensuite dépend de la configuration de votre compte. Si vous avez choisi de réinvestir les dividendes, une partie ou la totalité du dividende peut être utilisée pour acheter davantage d’actions. Dans ce cas, vous verrez le nombre d’actions augmenter dans votre portefeuille. Si les dividendes ne sont pas réinvestis, le montant sera affiché en espèces. Dans les deux cas, l’activité apparaîtra dans les activités de votre compte.
