Just a week ago I was melting down, thinking my simple meta was a botched fail, and people were so kind to chime in and tell me it was going to be ok and I needed to be patient and wait for the swelling to subside.

I appreciate those who commented so much and were voice a reason for me when I was spiraling about what I looked like a few weeks postop.

I thought it would be helpful to post that original photo along with what I look like just a few days later. I’m extremely happy now, am so grateful, and just wanted to repeat the wonderful words people shared with me. Be patient, focus on healing and health and give your body time to rest and sort things out. It can take 6-8 weeks and that may feel like forever but things will be ok.

I’m only six days post surgery but I don’t know what happened, maybe I just have a lot of swelling still; but my dick was big under the skin, just mostly hidden, I did have a monsplasty but it didn’t seem to change the orientation, and the glans is bent at a 90 degree angle and straight upwards. I feel like the tendon wasn’t cut at all. I also had a ton of labia which I thought would be used to make the skin around the shaft and it’s just all gone.
Now I’m more dysphoric than I ever was, can’t stop crying and am considering phallo.
I’m probably just venting, I don’t know.
