Hello, Adventurers! Me and my two players are looking to increase our group's size to run a full fledged campaign of The Crooked Moon from Level 1 to Level 20, that we are intending to run by the end of spring. For this campaign, the players will be running off the Module’s own species and backgrounds for thematic purposes.
“The Crooked Moon: A Twilight Symphony” takes place within the realm of Druskenvald, where the barrier between life and death itself becomes crooked. Some may find themselves here from wandering through purgatory or by some unknown means, their soul is reborn into a new vessel. Realms and worlds are seemingly interlinked to Druskenvald like a vile illness, a land preventing a soul from peace and the passage of death itself.
These campaigns will focus more on the roleplay and atmospheric side of D&D. Storytelling is highly valued and will usually have combat connected to the story as both are equally important. Everyone is in it to have fun whilst handling the serious tones of the game as and when it occurs. Furthermore, The Crooked Moon is a horror styled campaign so there will be darker topics throughout the story such as child endangerment, grotesque body horror, etc. (player discretion is advised.)
As stated, we are LGBTQIA+ friendly and are welcome to new and beginner players but we are also welcome to any more experienced or veteran players. We will be using Discord as a means to host our sessions.
However, we would also love to find players who are open to continue playing with us after The Crooked Moon finishes through more campaigns that I have planned and developed into different story arcs that will run off existing modules like "The Wild Beyond The Witchlight" and "Curse of Strahd" for example and maybe become a group that interacts with each other outside of these campaigns to help engage each other better.
I have also added my own homebrew elements that range from light to heavy depending on the campaign being played to create a unique story encompassed within its own universe.
Linked here, you can find a form to fill out if interested and I will message you in discord for a quick interview once applied, Thank you!
