I struggled to get my first web dev client… until this worked

When I started out, I had decent skills but ZERO clients.

Tried:

  • Upwork (too competitive)
  • Cold emails (ignored)

Then I tried cold calling — and honestly, I sucked at it at first.

So I wrote a simple script for myself to avoid sounding awkward and actually keep conversations going.

After a few tweaks, it started working. I finally started getting responses and even closed a couple of small projects.

I turned that into a simple script + objection handling guide.

If you’re trying to get web dev clients and feel stuck, I can share it (or just drop tips here if people are interested).
