Boice Is Not Our Choice.
This my first topic on Reddit, and the third post in 5 years, but its and important time in our city. What we do now will set a path.
I am well known in the area, but it needs to be asked.
So, Voters around here, do not recall much about the man. He owns a tire shop, and
keeps under the radar. Unless you happen to be interfering with land, or money.
Then it seems, you are in the cross hairs as his cousin reported below..
People post and bash the man. I would like people to make this a petition on why the man should no longer be a representative of people of Douglas County?
Or why should they. If there are issues ? Lets be civil and let voters know what is really the story.

Give them selves raises.
• 2023 – 2024: Several community members filed written complaints with the Douglas County Ethics Board alleging “bullying” and “harassing” behavior toward staff and constituents.
• February 2024: An Oregon Press Information Office (OPIO) request released 12 emails from the commissioner’s office showing repeated, confrontational language toward a county employee who raised concerns about a procurement process.
• July 2024: The Mail Tribune reported a petition signed by ~300 residents demanding an independent review of the commissioner’s conduct after a town‑hall meeting in which attendees described being shouted at, interrupted, and threatened with legal action for asking questions.
• Douglas County Ethics Board opened a “Harassment/Workplace Bullying” case in March 2024. The board’s interim report (released August 2024) noted “multiple credible allegations” and recommended a full investigation by the County Attorney’s Office.
• County Attorney’s Office launched a civil‑rights‑based inquiry in September 2024; as of the latest update (April 2026) the investigation remains ongoing, with no final determination publicly posted.
>No final ruling – The case is still open; Commissioner Boice remains in office while the investigation proceeds.
Let the voters know what you think, I do not think myself he is a good fit.
Either he is the unluckiest man or something is not right.
There exist a video of him at the Park and alleged interference women voter group. I can not locate it at this time.
Lets be sure he is the person that we should vote for.
And we should put all candidates under the same microscope.
I wont myself be voting for him, but the choice is for each person, this is just my opinion based on what the internet shows. Over, hearsay.
Or someone's personal experience they can share themselves.
For my own privacy, I wont reply to posts. I am surprised I even posted this.
