took the tray out to prune my basil and met this monster, it’s completely solid and i’ve been gently picking it apart trying to discern who’s roots are who’s (there are 4 pods involved) but im not sure if there’s a better way to handle this. Also, as i got closer to the center i noticed darker roots and am not sure if im dealing with root rot? The dill in this garden rotted completely and the basil roots are not slimy and soft like those so i’m not sure. anyways, im open to all advice i do not want my basil to die😭.
