Anyone know if this was the bump on Orlando's head Viggo mentioned?
Viggo Mortensen on the set of the film was known for bumping foreheads with other cast and crew members, apparently he encouraged another crew member to go over and headbutt Orlando Bloom for a laugh, which he eventually complied. Viggo, while describing the story, says Orlando had "this perfect pale elven complexion, along with this big bump", and the man who did the headbutting said the makeup team found it difficult to cover the bump. I've just seen in this scene after the Amon Hen fight Orlando has a bump on his forehead, maybe peter Jackson decided to keep it visible for this scene as it makes canonical sense since Legolas has just come out of a fight?
