What kind of homeschool curriculum should I use for the last month of school?
I posted a while back wondering if i should pull my child out of school and homeschool her for the last few weeks of school. Now I'm wondering what curriculum I should use?
My husband is not happy about our child missing school and I understand his frustration and his worries but if our child can't make it in the doors of the school or even into the classroom it's probably in her best interest if she is taken out of the stressful environment. He doesn't want her to repeat a grade, which I understand and we do live in Texas so I talked with someone from K12 today and they said there is one school that is taking homeschooled students I would just need to give them her public school transcript and her homeschool report card. Whether they accept her is up to them. I also chatted with someone from Texas Connections Academy and they said that she is eligible for enrollment even if she's homeschooled the last month. She just needs to be enrolled in a public school in the last 6 months.
Both schools have said that she would be enrolled in the 8th grade but again that she eligible for enrollment but it's up the schools whether they'll approve enrollment.
So my question is if I homeschool her what curriculum should I use for a 7th grader and should I homeschool a summer school to make up for her absences?
