High libido during training
I'm a 20 year old guy in college, currently in Hawaii training for an upcoming 70.3. No girlfriend right now.
Since ramping up my training volume my sex drive has gone through the roof. I know it sounds like a good problem to have but it's genuinely distracting and affecting my focus and sleep.
My friends keep saying just sext someone or use an app but honestly it's not that simple, especially when you're spending most of your day training, eating, and recovering. I don't have the time or energy to be putting effort into meeting someone.
I'm looking for actual practical advice from people who have been through heavy training blocks. Is this a hormone thing? Does it get better as you get deeper into training? Is there anything that genuinely helped you redirect that energy?
I've heard cold showers, more volume, meditation. Curious what has actually worked for real people.
