They already hate a new leader

#No matter who it could be

Playing nice with the billionaire press barons is a losing game. Their ink is already dry, and they’ve already decided the new leader will responsible for a three term of tory decay.

We've seen the same pattern of time after time, and it's fallen for again and again. We need to unite and go after them, for a change.

  • Restore an independent press regulator -- self regulation has failed
  • Prohibit controlling foreign ownership of TV news -- other countries already do so -- take back control
  • Restore OFCOM's teeth -- Hacking/sic for personal private data out of purience is not in the public interest

It seems some people don't believe you can successfully grow potatoes from sprouting supermarket potatoes. I know this works from experience so let's try an experiment, an feel free to follow along.

One or more supermarket naturally sprouting potatoes, rather than deliberately chatted seed potatoes.

#Day 1

Six Maris Piper potatoes selected bought from ASDA about two weeks ago, sprouting after being left under my sink. I've chosen

To maxiy the chance of falling, I've included a couple showing signs of scab. Though normally I'd exclude these.

Supermarket potatoes don't chit

Well that's the received wisdom, bought a couple of week ago, used a few, been under sink in the kitchen undisturbed for a week and a half.

Looks like I'll be planting for a late Marris Piper harvest, just have to figure out where I can squeeze them in, but that's a first world problem.

Queens gardens

The original plan for queens gardens included an accessable cafe and public toilet. It seems the latest plans do not include that.

So not only did the price the private contractor charged spiral many times the price, they are giving less than they promised.

#HTF can you manage to hit TWO bridges?

Hitting one bridge could be considered driving without due care and attention. Hitting a second looks like driving dangerously. 🤷‍♂️

What excuses do the regressives have for both increasing the countries dependence on imported fossil fuels and supporting this war which predictable increased prices.

Could it be because Farage takes money from the fossil fuel lobby?

He should be in prison for corruption and treachery, not in parliament.

Debenhams was always dark and dingy because those large windows were all boarded up so it never got any natural light inside.

East Riding of Yorkshire, in polytunnel, amongst peppers I tried (unsuccessful) to overwinter. This has popped up in two separate pots making me think it's windy blown when the peppers where outside last summer.

Plantnet says orach, French/mountain spinach, but only at 8% confidence.
