New To Utah Fishing, What do I need to have.
So for 20 years I've only been able to fish with others due to allergies, but recently figured out that I am no longer allergic to touching fish and want to get started fishing when I'm out off-roading! I'm looking for any recommendations for what I should keep in my tackle box. I currently have 1 rod setup for simple off-the-bottom fishing, which I've had good luck with for some trout in my local pond, but I want to be able to fish streams/rivers as well as possibly fish other species that are here in Utah. I do plan on having a 2nd rod so that I can either use 2 at once at a lake, or have 1 setup for streams/creeks and the other for lakes. I have in mind what rods I want to start out with since I need something collapsible to store in the Jeep, and right now I'm not interested in fly fishing for streams/rivers. I also need some recommendations on how I can get a cooler setup to store caught fish for up to 2-3 days before I get back home, as my mom loves eating fish. The goal is to start on the smaller/cheaper end but maybe venture into the midrange in terms of pricing.
Species Interested in
Trout(duh)
Bluegill
Catfish
Whitefish/BonnevilleCisco(I think they are the same/similar species?)
Kokanee Salmon
Perch
Bass large and smallmouth
Crappie
If it's in the fishing guidebook for keep limits, mention how they are caught so I can catch them.
Edit*
I'm mostly looking into recommendations for what I need in my tacklebox and an explanation of what fish they tend to catch and if they are for lake/reservoirs or if they are for rivers/creeks
