10 day old puppy with overnight eye spot - vet stumped
- I am beyond sick over this. I had just done puppy photos 2 days prior and check on them multiple times a day yo ensure everyone is OK and who is close to opening their eyes. So I was SHOCKED to see a female had opened her eyes AND had a weird spot! I was horrified. Every article online suggested clogged oil duct, so I began warm compresses. But still, it grew. Acting fine, eating/pottying fine, NO FEVER OR DISCHARGE. But there it is. Does not bother her, but concern is long term damage as its growing and in the exact far corner of her eye. After warm compresses didn't work I took to the vet. Vet is stumped. Prescribed steroid cream 5x a day. Said maybe odd case of strangles... but NO OTHER SPOTS. I've tried posting all over and every forum is slow to approve my post. Spot is squishy, almost feels water filled. Vet didn't mention draining it but said surgery could happen when she's older. Anyone have ideas on what it is or how to treat? Pup is almost 3 weeks old so this needs to get figured out!

- Feels fluid filled and squishy almost like a blister
- breed is frenchton bulldog: 75% frenchie, 25% Boston terrier
