So me and my Pierre boyfriend are on holidays in Spain at the moment. We're staying in Salou but we decided to do a day trip to Barcelona today.

But fuck me, I never thought the overtourism was bad until today. Like holy fucking shite, they're everywhere... Like everywhere... Its not like Dublin or Paris where they're mostly* contained to one section of the city.

And they're not just tourists going about their day, they're like giant toddlers. Like they can't walk properly, they're like toddlers in adult and teenager form. They block everything and you can't escape them. They're literally everywhere. You constantly had them screaming across the street at one another, they constantly bump into you.

To put this in perspective my boyfriend is from Paris and even he said the tourism in Paris isn't even as bad.

I'd also like to state, I'm aware of the irony of the fact that I'm a tourist complaining about tourists.

But my god, now I know why Jordi (that's the name I'm gonna use for the incompetent separatist Pedros) hates them. Like fucking hell...

Edit: I'd like to add that this isn't any hate towards Barcelona. Its a nice city.
