...Especially when it comes to drums.

Don't get me wrong, the performances and songwriting on the 2 most recent albums are incredible. But something about the Gigantic "loud" sound they're going for makes me miss the focus on the more quiet moments of the first 2 records.

Sundowning and tomb feel so ethereal. Listening w good headphones and I feel like those drums take me to a different world and I really prefer that...

And yeah, I also think the bass guitar is much better mixed w the guitar on the first 2 albums.

Just my opinion tho!
