Next steps for my Rockhopper?
Hey guys,
I got this new Rockhopper Comp last year for $600 and have since put a few upgrades on it such as:
-PNW Loam 150mm dropper
-WTB Peacekeeper tires
-RaceFace Chester Pedals
-PNW Loam grips
-Salsa Rustler bar
I am wondering what next steps might be. I have put $950 into it (bike included). My specific questions are:
-Would it be worth it to upgrade the crankset, wheelset, and fork? If so, what would take priority to you? Not sure which wheelset, but I am considering getting a RockShox Rekon Silver and a Deore crankset
-If I did the above upgrades, would it perform as good or better than something like a stock Specialized Chisel (that’s my benchmark as it would be around the same price).
If it’s relevant, I am riding trails in western Colorado.
