Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to all this investing stuff and honestly have no idea where to begin.

I do have around 35 tola of 22k gold jewellery, but I don’t count that as investment since it was given by my parents and I don’t plan on selling it.

Now I actually want to start investing my own money, but I don’t have any guidance. I was thinking about gold coins, but I’m confused about how it really works.

Like:

Do people actually make profit from gold coins or is it just for saving value?

How long do you usually have to hold gold before selling?

Is buying physical gold even a good idea now?

Would really appreciate if someone can guide me in simple terms. I’m starting from zero here 😅
