Did i go overboard with my gear?
Just bought a Yamaha YBR 125, and i ordered my gear a few months ago, but looking at other people riding around they all seem to be in just the bare minimum; denim and a leather jacket, but i wanted to make sure i was safe whilst still being easily visible so i went for a relatively bright two-piece suit, and some (similar enough) boots and gloves.
It was all purchased second hand but still in great condition, and i did ensure there was no damage or missing protection from anything.
It just seems in comparison I’ve overcompensated- but surely it’s better to be safe than sorry?
