Hello everyone,
This is my beautiful baby girl, Indigo (2.5 years old), 5 minutes after she jumped from my 200cm wardrobe that she liked to sleep on. She limped into the kitchen for her dinner without any complaints 🥺
After an emergency vet visit I’ve been told she has badly broken her left humerus and we plan to amputate. I’m heartbroken for her but after looking through all of your posts I see so many of your babies living wonderful happy lives and I’m trying to be positive!
She’s being contained in a crate while we wait for surgery and is coping so well you would never believe the damage she has. She’s the best tempered cat I’ve ever known (and I’ve had many!) But also not the most graceful, she’s more of a cat-dog personality 😂 so I worry for her.
She is booked in for surgery tomorrow. I guess I’m looking for any advice or words of wisdom you can give me? Anything to expect/do post surgery? I know my vet will tell me but wondered your personal experiences
Thank you 💖
