Hey everyone,

I recently started a YouTube channel and I’m working toward reaching the monetization requirements. I’ve been posting short videos (under 10 minutes), mostly based on series content — but some of them have copyright claims.

To be honest, I only posted these videos because I’m struggling to fully understand the monetization rules and wanted to grow the channel somehow.

Now I’m not sure what to do next. Before applying for monetization, should I make those claimed videos private or leave them as they are?

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation? Did copyright-claimed content affect your approval?

Any advice or experience would really help. Thanks!
