Its time to get rid of my dying Dyson.

Thinking of buying the Miele Guard L1 Electro sold by a 3rd party, fulfilled by Walmart. The price ($949) is really good in comparison to other sites. I've also looked at the C1 Cat and Dog, which is widely on sale for rough $650. I can't find any C3 models that are new for sale, otherwise I'd consider that one too. Anyone have any recommendations on which I should get? House is about 2500sqft, one sheddy dog, carpet upstairs, hardwood floors downstairs.
