I made an app to convert your 3D Bluray collection to spatial video plays natively on Vision Pro
If you have a 3D Bluray collection gathering dust, there's a good chance it looks incredible on Vision Pro -- you just need a way to convert it.
I built **SpaceRay**, a macOS app that takes unencrypted 3D Bluray files (MKV or M2TS) and converts them to MV-HEVC spatial video. The output files play natively in Moon Player, Infuse, or any player that supports spatial video.
A few things that make it work well:
- Proper MVC decoding (not just a depth estimation hack — it uses the real left/right eye views from the disc)
- Surround sound preserved (5.1 AAC)
- 3 free conversions to try before buying ($29.99 one-time)
- Everything runs locally on your Mac
I've been converting my own collection and honestly, movies like Gravity and Pacific Rim in spatial video on Vision Pro are a completely different experience from watching them on a 3D TV. The depth is natural and the immersion is next-level.
