SP2 essentially takes all the stuff from SP1, makes it better, and manages to add a lot more too

this game is simply amazing, how enjoyable it is to build, the rework on flight models, new map and multiplayer are incredible, simply incredible

the building system particularly fresh, it took around 5 hours to make this build (ATJ-1 Astrus, my second ever build in this). In contrast, doing this in SP1 would've taken days and look worse at the end

you can create MUCH more things than in simple planes 1, end up with better performance (due to more refined building systems and less need to use more parts) AND THEN PLAY IT WITH OTHER PEOPLE, just pick a <500 parts server and have fun (my favorite are non-PvP ones)

the only downside compared to SP1 really are the explosions, they look a bit weird in this entry, they do emit lights at least though, and it really doesn't get in the way

there are many improvements, so long story short: If you enjoyed Simple Planes 1, you will LOVE Simple Planes 2
