My daily visitors...
Hi!
I've just found this subreddit and I want to present you a couple of my daily visitors...
In the video (had to link it) you can see:
Binni and Rayitas, they are a couple, the dark greys one, Rayitas, I think, is the boy and has like brown little lines on the back, Binni has a white splotch on the back, close to her neck. they think they own the place and enters my home through the balcony like they live here. :D Rayitas is like impossible to get rid of, you push him and he inmediately comes back, he don't get offended, LOL!
Hijita ("Little Daughter" would be the translation), she is already 2 years old, I assume she is a girl. She comes here since she was a baby learning how to eat, her dad/mum (I don't know) brought her here. After she learned how to eat, Carroña (her mum/dad) just became her enemy, they always fought!!!. She is the Queen of the place, always start complaining really loudly when other pigeons appears. Even if she knows for about 2 years, eats from my hand and likes to walk along my arm up to my shoulder, she doesn't really like to be touched, just tolerate it, LOL.
Alitas in the back, the little light grey one (sorry, don't really know about types of pigeons), she has a husband that is HUGE! She comes and go, really never stays long.
Appart from these ones, my visitors also includes:
Hittly, cannot put here his full name, don't want to be banned LOL, but he is dark grey and has a white mark in the front of the head, between his eyes like if he had a moustach... Huge boy, boyfriend of Alitas. Not too much aggresive, doesn't fight much for the food or the ownership of my window.
Puntas Blancas: Another boy, sometimes comes to bother the rest of the group, other times just to eat, he used to come to eat really late, like 12 am or even later, he sleeps down home in the shop sign.
Matilda (boy) and Novia (girl), they are a couple, they come here daily since 2023... I know they had a LOT of eggs and probably kids... A month and a bit ago they brough their little baby, Celestita, here to learn to eat, she (I think) stayed here for like 3 weeks, she found a place to sleep in the same sign as Puntas Blancas and since like a week and a half, she (and another pigeon that also slept there) dissapeared, so I think they just found another flock...
The oldes one of the group is Carroña, I knew here for about 3 year and stopped coming here like 2 months ago.... She always came here, a couplo of time she took a week vacation, but always came back, not now :( She has an IG account :)
Others that are not longer with us:
Clotilda (my first one), it took me days until she got confident and didn't just flew away in fear.
Naranjita and Rodolfo, a couple, Naranjita lost a leg, Rodo had both feet with issues and then lost a leg and had the remaing one in a really bad shape, couldn't stand up, I always tried to give him food (but it was difficult with the rest of the team trying to get some of that). Naranjita stopped showing up, Rodo stayed like 2 more months and stopped showing up too :'(
Morochita, also appeared one day with one foot deformed. Formed a couple with Catalina, and one day, dissapeared.
Catalina, boyfriend of Morochita, he stopped coming here after Morochita dissapeared, but every night I see him sleeping accross the avenue.
Lots of babies that I feed and then dissapeared, I want to believe that they just join another flock and are happy flying through the city...
