My theory about Psykos is that she will eventually become one of the key characters in the future of the story, especially regarding Tsukuyomi and God.

We already know Tsukuyomi experimented on espers, including Tatsumaki when she was still a child. What caught my attention is Psykos’ reaction when she saw one of Tsukuyomi’s members. Even while weakened and barely conscious, she attacked immediately. That reaction didn’t look like simple anger — it looked like genuine fear and hatred, almost like she knew something terrible about them personally.

Psykos awakened her powers much later during her teenage years, unlike Tatsumaki or Fubuki. So she most likely didn’t meet Tsukuyomi during childhood. Maybe Fubuki told her about them, or maybe Psykos discovered information about them herself. Either way, she clearly knows something important about that organization.

And Psykos is incredibly intelligent. People forget that most of the detailed explanations about limiter breaking in One Punch Man came directly from her. Dr. Genus explained what the limiter is and confirmed that Saitama broke it, but Psykos was the one who went deeply into the actual process behind surpassing limits through confrontations with death again and again.

That’s why I think Psykos will eventually help Fubuki and Tatsumaki destroy Tsukuyomi. This could become the beginning of her redemption arc. Even though she still seemed to have resentment toward Fubuki, her reaction to Tsukuyomi showed even stronger hatred and fear toward them.

I think Psykos has personal reasons for hating that organization. Maybe they were involved in something connected to her, or maybe she simply learned the truth about what they do to espers like her. But her expression when she saw one of their members genuinely looked terrified.

And beyond Tsukuyomi, I also believe Psykos will play a major role against “God” himself in the future.

She already has:

direct contact with “god”

knowledge about limiter breaking,

deep understanding of monsterization and psychic powers,

and knowledge of the forbidden future she saw through the Third Eye.

Because of this, I think Psykos will become one of the most important characters for explaining the bigger mysteries of the story, including what she truly saw in that future and the true nature of “god”
I’m almost certain she still has a huge role left to play in One Punch Man.

Also, the reason I based this theory mainly on the manga instead of the webcomic is because the manga expands much more on the elements directly connected to Psykos.

In the webcomic, God is never explicitly connected to Psykos the way the manga heavily implies. I personally still believe God was the one influencing her even there, but the manga develops that idea much further and gives us more material to analyze.

The same goes for Tsukuyomi. In the webcomic, that organization either doesn’t exist in the same form or is represented very differently under another name. The manga added entirely new scenes, including Psykos reacting to a Tsukuyomi member, which became one of the biggest reasons behind this theory in the first place.

So to avoid contradictions and confusion between continuities, I focused mainly on the manga version of the story.

On one side, we have an Esper with immense power, capable of lifting massive chunks of earth and turning them into spears, as well as twisting massive life forms capable of slicing through the Earth's crust.

On the other side, we have a conceptual mage capable of trapping her opponent in a dimensional space where she controls reality. Which one wins?
